It would not just go on it was to tight of fit had to get something and peck on it to go on. Other than that it works

One of the wings on the control arm to open and close the feeder broke. I emailed customer service and was shipped a replacement part the next day. Can’t beat service like that!!!

To be honest I like to feeder overall I wish these were more durable though I think I have bought 5 or 6 sets so far bears and other critters snap them like tooth pics

I hooked up the battery and even though I didn’t set opening/closing time it opened and broke the arms on two of the 4 feeders that were close to the wall. FYI power the unit off if you don’t want it to open.
